Paddling on Klamath River is so much fun, and a journey to Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park is a splendid idea. Near Riverwoods Campground you discover the Zigzag Trail which is a perfect hiking trail; Wilson Creek Beach is a beautiful beach to pop by.
That right there is lots already, but it goes on; Riverwoods Campground has it all. There is a great hiking trail right next door to Riverwoods Campground called the Crea Trail; since you're here at Riverwoods Campground it's a good idea to stop by Hatzis Flat. Riverwoods Campground is one of the sites to camp here in the Coast Ranges.
This is no location for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves.
