Man, is there loads of cool stuff to do in the Santa Cruz Mountains. There are some glorious whitewater spots on Pescadero Creek, and Cowell Beach is quite nearby if you're in a beach
| type of mood. All the merry people and the well taken care of facilities have folks coming here. You've gotta get out; River Grove Park in California is a good site to go.
This campground is always a delight. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Scotts Valley Golf Course is in close proximity, and if you come at the right time of year, San Lorenzo River offers some magnificent whitewater. When you're here at River Grove Park it's always fun to pop by Wilder Ranch State Park, and if you're here you will meet lots of folks from close | |

by Mount Hermon.
All the delightful local attractions in close proximity and such a delightful variety of outdoors recreation will make you glad you came. River Grove Park gets a large amount of water; January is the month that gets the most rain; July on the other hand is
the driest. While you're here at River Grove Park, you could also stop at striking Loch Lomond, and Big Tree Grove is a delightful local forest.
Good hiking is available along the Coyote Ridge Trail; why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Pasatiempo Golf
Club. River Grove Park is a good camp ground to use as a base while enjoying the Santa Cruz Mountains. High temperatures at River Grove Park throughout the warm months are in the 70's. All through the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to
the 50's; nighttime lows in the 30's for River Grove Park.
Some activities here at River Grove Park are hiking, swimming, playing golf, whitewater paddling, and fishing, so possibly you want to stay for a while. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff in the neighborhood
of River Grove Park. Near River Grove Park you hit upon the Rincon Fire Road Trail which is a great hiking trail, and playing golf is lots of fun at De Laveaga Golf Course & Lodge. Scores of folks stay here for the purpose of being near Wilder Ranch State Park.
What a site
this is for outdoors people. Gold Gulch is a wonderful spot to stop by near River Grove Park, and don't leave River Grove Park without first going for a hike along the Butano Ridge Loop Trail. These mountains rock, just check out all the fun stuff to do in the Santa Cruz Mountains.
Gold Gulch Creek is close to River Grove Park and is always a delight to stop by; Big Rock Hole is a good place to stretch your legs a bit.
