The high level of rain makes Rien's Beach a quite wet place; through the month of January you get the most rain around here while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. And that's not all the things you can do here in the Coast Ranges. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Big Sulphur Creek; Northwood Golf Club is a tremendous golf course nearby.

to offer. The great folks of Monte Rio like to hang out close by, and get your pulse rate up on the splendid whitewater of Little Sulphur Creek.
You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff at Rien's Beach. If you're looking for a beach next to Rien's Beach,
we recommend Gleason Beach; a spree here wouldn’t be complete without a trip to nearby Austin Creek State Park. A good location like Sonoma Coast State Beach in the neighborhood of Rien's Beach is too nice to leave out, and why not explore nearby Austin Creek while you're here at Rien's Beach.
