Recreation Point - Sierra National Forest, California   Outdoors people generally love this part of California. Millerton Lake State Park is a perfect site to stop at on a pretty     day, and the slopes of Sierra Summit are so inviting noone can resist. All through the warm months highs here at Recreation Point get into the 90's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs throughout the winter are usually in the 50's with temperatures at Recreation Point dipping down into the 30's through winter nights. Recreation Point is an old favorite with campers from Clovis. The welcoming environment and the splendor of the spot are reasonably astonishing. Loads of people select Recreation Point during their journey to Millerton Lake State Park. Get dripping wet paddling on San Joaquin River, and Recreation Point is not the only spot nearby, Gates Lake is a nearby lake. The splendid pick of local attractions, and the nearby outdoors recreation will certainly have you coming back time and again. At   Recreation Point you don’t see much rainfall; the wettest month of the year is commonly March, that's the one that rains the most, and July is when it's the driest. Quite a lot of fun stuff to do right next door to Recreation Point, and it is one of a lot of perfect campgrounds in this area.
