Lakes are tremendous; Dennis Reservoir is a lake that's near Rancho Oso. The good local attractions and the close by outdoors recreation are guaranteed to keep you coming back persistently. Man, is there loads of enjoyable stuff to do in the vicinity of Rancho Oso. While you're here at Rancho Oso you can play some golf at Rancho San Marcos Golf Course, and visiting El Capitan State Beach is a great thing to do. Rancho Oso is mostly a quite dehydrated spot; February is when you get the most rain here, and   the driest of the months is July. There's more to do next to Rancho Oso other than just hanging out such as swimming, hiking, playing golf, and fishing, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. Rancho Oso is a very well prized campground by folks in Goleta. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting things in the Santa Ynez Mountains. Sage Hill is a peak you can see from Rancho Oso; the Jesusita Trail is a glorious hiking trail close by. A campground like this is too splendid to miss. Going for a hike along the Arroyo Burro Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. This campground is so splendid. Glen Annie Golf Club is a magnificent golf course close by; there is a good hiking trail nearby called the Buckhorn Trail. Throughout the summer months at Rancho Oso temperatures are frequently in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 60's, and nighttime lows throughout the winter for Rancho Oso tend to be in the 30's.
