Rancheria RV Park, Southern Cascade Range, California   Rancheria RV Park is centrally located in the Lassen National Forest and in the Shasta Cascade area of Northern California. Fishing in the famous Hat Creek is only a few minutes away as is fly fishing in the Hat Creek trophy area and Baum Lake. Burney Falls and lake Britton are about 23 miles away. A 4 1/2 star golf course is about 30 minutes in Fall River Mills. The north entrance of Lassen National Park is a short 20 minute drive and Subway Cave, a volcanic formed tube , is a 5 minute drive. Another attraction to this area is the Thousand Lake     Wilderness area, hiking and beautiful scenery are part of the experience in this remote wilderness area. If you aren't up to all these activities you can just relax here in the park, watching the ducks in the lake and the fish jumping or fish for our trophy rainbow trout with barbless flies or barbless singe hook spinners. Our lake Catherine is catch and release only. All of our RV sites are full hookups, which include water, sewer, electric, cable and 2 hours of free wi-fi. We have a rec-hall for our guests to gather for groups or family gatherings. There is a nice area that has picnic tables for gatherings with a large BBQ for our guests to use. Our bathhouse has large showers and stalls, there is a laundry faclilty for the guests convience. A full running restaurant that is open year round from 9am to 7pm. There is a   general store. We are located 21 miles from Burney. We have sites located around the lake, pull thrus, back-ins. There are 50 and 30amp sites. Our sites are long so we can accomidate large RV's. There are 3 cabins available at Rancheria RV Park. They have a microwave, television, bathroom with shower, smoke free for your comfort. Call for reservations. Having a delightful time in the Southern Cascade Range is trouble-free. There is a wonderful hiking trail close to Rancheria RV Park called the Hanna Trail, and a trip to McArthur-Burney Falls Memorial State Park when you're here is never a bad idea. Rancheria RV Park is a quite wet place generally with a great deal of precipitation; through January this area sees the most snow; July is the month with the least moisture. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Rancheria RV Park. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 40's. All through the winter highs are in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Rancheria RV Park. But wait, there's more exciting things to do in the Southern Cascade Range. While you're here at Rancheria RV Park you can take a hike along the Bunchgrass Trail, and get your heart beating on the glorious whitewater of Pit River. Going for a hike on the Childs Meadows Trail is always a great adventure, and you can run the rapids of Pit River. This campground is so beautiful. On a pleasant day at Rancheria RV Park you can take a hike along the Chaos Crags Trail, and dropping by Lassen National Forest is a delightful thing to do. Be careful coming to Rancheria RV Park, you might not ever wanna go back home again. Near Rancheria RV Park you come across the Growler Trail which is a good hiking trail, and lots of people from Hat Creek come here. This is beyond doubt a tremendous campground. Really great skiing awaits you at Mount Shasta.
