Ormond Beach is next to Point Mugu State Park if you're in a beach type of mood, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Last Chance Trail. Get yourself into a kayak
and hit Sespe Creek, and don't leave Point Mugu State Park without first going for a hike along the Foothill Trail.
This is such a great campground. The Cozy Dell Trail offers hiking at its best, and you can hit the beach if you want, Silver Strand Beach is practically right
here. If you are in California throughout camping season, you must go camping. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool things right next door to Point Mugu State Park. During your tour to Point Mugu State Park you'll meet some folks from Oxnard for sure, and why not spend some time
golfing at a close by golf course like River Ridge Golf Course.
Go for a hike on the Horn Canyon Trail, and if you're a golfer then a splendid nearby course is Buenaventura Golf Course. The great local attractions and the nearby outdoors recreation will certainly have you coming
back repeatedly. What a place this is for outdoors folks. Visiting Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area is just something you need to do if you haven't yet.
The personnel that runs this campground and the tremendous great quantity of fun activities makes the trip here worthwhile.
