Easy hiking distance to the beach and the Point Cabrillo Lighthouse with fishing spots and angling trips available nearby. Reasonable daily rates call for reservation.

| in the 40's. During the winter highs are mostly in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Point Cabrillo Highlands are in the 40's. If you want a magnificent time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Coast Ranges. There are plenty of people from Caspar here at Point Cabrillo Highlands; drift down the rapids of Tenmile Creek in a kayak. The surroundings of this campground have so many things to offer. A lake nearby is Lake Cleone, and why not take a look at Caspar Anchorage also while you're here. You believe that's enough? Just getting warmed up. | |

A trip to Russian Gulch State Park when you're here at Point Cabrillo Highlands is a splendid idea; get wet paddling on Eel River - South Fork. These mountains rock, just look at all the exciting stuff to do in the Coast Ranges. An average amount of rain falls at Point Cabrillo
Highlands; the month with most of the rain is January; July is when it's the driest. A good site near Point Cabrillo Highlands is Russian Gulch; whitewater paddling is great on Noyo River.
