The amount of rainfall that falls at Point Cabrillo Highlands is close to the national average; the wettest month of the year is frequently January, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month of the year is July. This campground is so good. Whitewater paddling is perfect on Noyo River, and Russian Gulch State Park is a great location to stop by on a wonderful day. on Eel River - South Fork is so much fun; if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Doyle Creek. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 60's to Point Cabrillo Highlands. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 40's. Highs through the winter are usually in the 50's while Point Cabrillo Highlands overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the 40's.
