Pioneer Trails - Stanislaus National Forest, Central Sierra Nevada, California

  You can never get enough of the tremendous skiing at Dodge Ridge; if you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Tuolumne River. Pioneer Trails is a very popular old favorite campground among the folks from Sonora. Through the months of summer highs here at Pioneer Trails get into the 90's with night lows in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 50's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Pioneer Trails descend into the 30's.
There is so much amusing stuff in the neighborhood
    of Pioneer Trails; it is a fun place for everyone. The annual rainfall here at Pioneer Trails is about average; during the month of January you get the most rain around here, and July meanwhile is the driest month. This campground is always a bliss. You can run the rapids of Stanislaus
River - Middle Fork near Pioneer Trails, and Calaveras Big Trees State Park is a perfect place to stop by on a wonderful day.

Some of the things you can do here at Pioneer Trails are swimming, whitewater paddling, playing golf, and fishing, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. Clavey River is a great whitewater spot next to Pioneer Trails; a scenic lake like Phoenix Reservoir is a great place to explore.
Having a tremendous time at Pioneer Trails is uncomplicated. Near Pioneer Trails you discover a golf course called Phoenix Lake Golf Course, and while you're here you can play some golf at Mountain Springs Golf Club.
