cool stuff next to Pioneer Point, and it is a wonderful escape from the mundane. Yeah, come up here to the Southern Sierra Nevada for a magnificent time. The top of Congress Group is easily seen from Pioneer Point; there are some great whitewater spots on Kaweah River - North Fork.
While going to this area in California it's a wonderful idea to go camping too. The caring operators of the campground and a lot of exciting stuff to do have folks coming from all over. Pioneer Point is a campground reasonably often visited by residents of Sequoia National Park.
Have a great hiking adventure along the Atwell Hockett Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Kaweah River offers some magnificent whitewater. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Pioneer Point. Throughout the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. Highs during
the winter are ordinarily in the 40's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Pioneer Point temperatures sink to the 20's. The amount of rain that falls at Pioneer Point is close to the national average; most of the rain falls throughout January, and July on the other hand is the driest.
