Pioneer Point gets a normal amount of yearly precipitation; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. Some activities here at Pioneer Point are swimming, fishing, hiking, and whitewater paddling, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. Willow Meadow is a splendid place to stretch your legs a bit, and Kaweah River - North Fork has a glorious whitewater paddling spot nearby. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff in the Southern Sierra Nevada. A quick tour to Clover Creek close to Pioneer Point is a delightful idea; lakes are such calm spots, why not check out Twin Lakes. The good variety of local attractions and the nearby outdoors recreation will without doubt have you coming back over and over.
