So much cool stuff to do in the Coast Ranges, not sufficient time. A spree to Little River State Beach revives the soul, and Cooper Canyon is a perfect place to explore. California is a good location for outdoors people.
Patrick Creek Campground is a campground prized by folks in Eureka. Going for a hike on the Rim Trail is always a glorious adventure, and there are some good whitewater spots on Mad River.
This camp ground is one of the pleasant locations to camp here in the Coast Ranges. If only every site had this much outdoors exciting stuff, what a great earth it would be. Dead Mouse Marsh is a swamp near Patrick Creek Campground, and a gorgeous lake like Long Pond is a tremendous spot to explore.
