North Shore Campground, Northern Sierra Nevada, California   There are so many exciting things close to North Shore Campground, and spending time at this campground is exceptionally enjoyable. This is such a charming campground. Go for a hike on the Yellow Creek Trail; on a gorgeous day you get a glorious view of Ski Hill from North Shore Campground. Be careful coming to North Shore Campground, you might not ever wanna go back home again. Take a side journey to Louse Creek, and there are good places to explore along the Lassen Trail. The great selection of local attractions, and the close by outdoors recreation     will unquestionably have you coming back repeatedly. Plumas National Forest is a delightful location to pop by on a lovely day. From a rainfall point of view North Shore Campground is a pretty common spot; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is July. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Northern Sierra Nevada. All our national parks are great sites to stop at, and Lassen Volcanic National Park is no exception, and there's magnificent hiking along the Childs Meadows Trail. All the outdoors entertaining stuff in the Northern Sierra Nevada will keep you coming back again and again. Going to Lassen National Forest near North Shore Campground is a great thing to do; not far from North Shore Campground you obtain some good water scenery at Chester Diversion Dam. Some of the things   you can do here at North Shore Campground are whitewater paddling, and hiking, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. Famous California welcome and the admirably run operations are rather mind-blowing. For the duration of the warm months at North Shore Campground temperatures are usually in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Through the wintertime the highs are frequently in the 40's while the cold winter nights at North Shore Campground are in the 20's. Eager to set up that camp site; North Shore Campground is a great local campground if you happen to be in California. This is such a wonderful campground. Locherman Canyon is a pleasant site to explore in the neighborhood of North Shore Campground, and Sunflower Flat is a tremendous place. Good hiking is available along the Carter Meadow Trail, and Feather River - North Fork is a magnificent whitewater spot nearby. While you're here at North Shore Campground you will meet lots of folks from nearby Chester; don't leave North Shore Campground without first going for a hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 16.
