Allen's Golf Course is a splendid golf course nearby; get dripping wet paddling on Cottonwood Creek - North Fork. The wonderful people of Anderson like to hang out nearby, and since you're here, you could also visit pretty Tule Lake.

camping is such an enjoyable thing to do, and this is a great site to do that. Going for a hike on the Dry Creek Trail is always a glorious adventure; Clear Creek Sacramento Tributary has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot nearby.
