This portion of Yuba River - Middle Fork is suitable for whitewater paddlers who have been raft paddling for a while. Check the situation before you go on the whitewater, otherwise it's not       secure. If you love backpacking, you will love a nearby backpacking trail featuring a great 929-foot altitude difference, 2.3 miles in distance. We're speaking about the South Yuba Trail. This backpacking trail, the South Yuba Trail   is a tough backcountry trek that calls for in the order of two and a half hours. A good close by wilderness hiking trail with an altitude difference of 1,041 feet is Humbug Trail, a good 4-mile-long trek. Humbug Trail is three and a half hours of backcountry trekking.
