There's a load of outdoors recreation available around here such as playing golf, fishing, swimming, hiking, and whitewater paddling, so you won’t run out of things to do. Whitewater paddling is magnificent on Kings River - Middle Fork, and you can have a pleasant hiking adventure along the Kings River Trail. High temperatures at Millpond Campground and Rec throughout the long summer days are
in the 90's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. Through the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the 50's; after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Millpond Campground and Rec drop into the 20's. The Central Sierra Nevada scenery is always charming.
