This camp ground is to be found in the scenic Santa Lucia Range. The workforce that controls this campground and the great quality of everything here are in themselves incentive enough to come here. On Arroyo Seco River you bump into the nearby Arroyo Seco Picnic Area to Route G16 bridge sector. This is a category III, 14.5-mile-long stretch of whitewater. The Arroyo Seco Picnic Area to Route G16       bridge sector of Arroyo Seco River is recommended for paddlers of medium know-how. Always check restrictions prior to departure kayak paddling since kayak paddling is a dangerous thing to do. With its 1,737 foot altitude difference   it's a wonderful great outdoors trail; the Horse Pasture Trail is 5.3 miles of tremendous backcountry hiking. An average great outdoors trail like Horse Pasture Trail should take you more or less five hours.
