Middle Meadows - Eldorado National Forest, Northern Sierra Nevada, California   There's such a vast number of things to do close to Middle Meadows, and campgrounds like these are pleasant. Be careful coming to the Northern Sierra Nevada, you might not ever want to return back home again. Marshall Gold Discovery State Park is a pleasant site to explore on a gorgeous day; hiking along the Bake Oven Trail is   tremendous fun. The Northern Sierra Nevada scenery is always gorgeous. If you're dropping by Middle Meadows from Placerville, you won't be the only one, and here at Middle Meadows you can catch a glimpse of Sacramento Hill. The friendly ambiance and lots of exciting stuff to do are in themselves reason enough to come here. If you want a glorious time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Middle Meadows. Indian Grinding Rock State Park is both pleasant and stunning, and it's close to Middle Meadows; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend American River - South Fork. Middle Meadows is a very popular campground with people in Placerville. This campground has so much fun stuff to offer. Enjoy a round of golf at Camino Heights Golf Course not far from Middle Meadows, and a quick visit to Ringgold Creek is beyond doubt a wonderful idea. This campground is so magnificent. Going for a hike along the Pigeon Roost Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area; get your pulse rate up on the good whitewater of Cosumnes River - Middle Fork. The good variety of local attractions and the good variety of outdoors recreation will make you glad you came.
