Middle Meadows - Eldorado National Forest, Northern Sierra Nevada, California   Now, you may think that's plenty but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. If you come at the right time of year, American River - South Fork offers some delightful whitewater, and there's great hiking along the Pigeon Roost Trail. Some people stay at this campground for the purpose of being near Marshall Gold Discovery State Park. An average amount of rainfall falls at Middle Meadows; January is when you get the most rain here; the driest of the months is July. Indian Grinding Rock State Park is a magnificent spot     to visit, and there are great locations to explore along the Nevada Point Trail. Places like Marshall Gold Discovery State Park are pleasant to stop at; soar down the rapids of American River - South Fork in a kayak. Some activities here at Middle Meadows are playing golf, whitewater paddling, and hiking, so you won’t run out of things to do. It's been too much time since you went outside, and Middle Meadows in California is exactly the location. Middle Meadows is prized by campers from Placerville. Coming to this campground is always a great idea. Don't forget to take a brilliant little journey to Ringgold Creek, and the sight of wonderful Sacramento Hill is splendid. California is a great location for campers. The staff who's always there to be of assistance and the splendor of the location are in themselves incentive   enough to come here. This campground is so stunning. You'll meet a lot of people from Placerville here; get yourself into a kayak and hit Cosumnes River - Middle Fork. This camp ground is one of the great places to camp here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Whohoo, so much amusing stuff in one place! The Northern Sierra Nevada is excellent! For you golfers we recommend close by Camino Heights Golf Course; don't leave Middle Meadows without first going for a hike along the Bake Oven Trail. So many local attractions and the splendid variety of outdoors recreation are delightful incentives to come. Whohoo, so many cool things in one place! Middle Meadows is so good! A splendid spot like Coon Hollow here at Middle Meadows is too good to miss, and a great place is Cedar Ravine. High temperatures at Middle Meadows during the warm days of summer are in the 90's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. Highs through the winter are mostly in the 50's; all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Middle Meadows temperatures drop to the 30's.
