California has loads of outdoors activities. Spend the day on the beach at Mandalay Beach while you're here at McGrath State Beach, and lakes are such serene sites, why not stop at McGrath Lake. The annual rainfall here at McGrath State Beach is about average; February is when you get the most rain here, and July is when it's the driest.

Buenaventura Golf Course is a great golf course close by, and hiking is a popular thing to do around McGrath State Beach; Pratt Trail is a perfect local trail. For the duration of the
summertime highs here at McGrath State Beach get into the 90's with nighttime lows in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 60's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to McGrath State Beach. The views at Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area will blow your
mind.
You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things at McGrath State Beach. One of the best things about McGrath State Beach is its proximity to South Jetty Beach; the Horn Canyon Trail offers hiking at its best. This is a perfect campground. Mandalay Beach
Park is both great and delightful, and it's next to McGrath State Beach; since you're here you can play some golf at Olivas Park Golf Course.
So many enjoyable things in close proximity to McGrath State Beach, and it is a splendid escape from the city. Don't you try to stop
me, cause I'm havin' a nice time here at McGrath State Beach. Going for a hike on the Foothill Trail is always a good adventure; Ventura Harbor is an out of the ordinary thing to check out.
