Mariposa Fairgrounds, Central Sierra Nevada, California   While stopping by this region in California it's a tremendous idea to go for a camping trip too. There is a perfect hiking trail in the neighborhood of Mariposa Fairgrounds called the Hite Cove Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Merced River offers some magnificent whitewater. Yosemite National Park is a splendid location right next door to Mariposa Fairgrounds; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Chowchilla   River. For the period of the months of summer, highs ordinarily are in the 90's at Mariposa Fairgrounds, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. All through the wintertime highs are commonly in the 50's while Mariposa Fairgrounds night low temperatures through the winter are in the 30's. The staff that runs this campground and the competently controlled operations have folks coming from far and wide. That right there is lots of enjoyable things already but it goes on, the Central Sierra Nevada has it all. Take a side journey to Stockton Creek, and a great spot to stop at is McBrights Gulch. Mariposa Fairgrounds is a good location of normal rain; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily January, that's the one that rains the most, and July is when it's the driest. This campground has so incredibly much.
