Going for a hike on the Fredalba Trail is always a great adventure, and you'll discover a picturesque lake called Secombe Lake. This is such a fun place for a campground. If the weather is great here at Marion Mountain, you can go for a hike along the McKinley Firebreak, and playing golf is lots of fun at Shandin Hills Golf Club.

Trail is a great hiking trail right next door to Marion Mountain; of course San Timoteo Wash flows through this vicinity. This campground is always a delight. Gotta ski! Snow Valley is a magnificent site to do that; nearby you find the Cable Canyon Trail which is a splendid hiking

Lake Perris State Park is a brilliant place to go if you're at Marion Mountain, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because San Bernardino Golf Club is close by. During the long summer days, highs regularly are in the 90's at Marion Mountain while night lows are commonly in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 60's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Marion Mountain temperatures descend to the 40's. There are wonderful spots to explore along the Government Canyon Trail. California is a tremendous spot for campers. Some folks stay here to be in the vicinity of Lake Perris State Park.
Lots of folks from Colton come to Marion Mountain,
and why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Colton Golf Course. Marion Mountain is extremely popular with the residents of Colton. Marion Mountain is pretty dehydrated usually; January is the wettest month with most rain, and June is the month with the least
moisture.
