On a good day it's a magnificent idea to spend the day at Muir Beach, and since you're here, do take a spree to Municipal Yacht Harbor. The workforce that operates this campground and all the cool stuff to do have people coming here.

| Park temperatures are commonly in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are regularly in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Marin Park are in the 30's. Near Marin Park you hit upon the Bootjack Trail which is a good hiking trail; near Marin Park you hit upon a golf course called Peacock Gap Golf and Country Club. Do go to San Rafael Yacht Harbor while you're here at Marin Park, and going for a hike on the Throckmorton Trail is always a splendid adventure.

a great location to stop at nearby, and China Camp State Park is a nice place to stretch your legs a bit.
