If you want to hit the beach, Clam Beach is around here, and there is a delightful hiking trail close by called the Agate Beach Trail. Now, you may feel that's heaps but there's even more exciting stuff to do here in the Coast Ranges. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Mad River, and the Tsurai Trail is a great hiking trail close by. the delightful Coast Ranges. During the warm days of summer highs here at Mad River Rapids RV Park reach the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's while Mad River Rapids RV Park nighttime low
temperatures during the wintertime are in the 30's. There's such a great deal of things to do at Mad River Rapids RV Park including hiking, playing golf, swimming, fishing, and whitewater paddling, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. This campground
is so glorious. Why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Beau Pre Golf Club. The surroundings of this campground have such a vast number of things to offer. Little River State Beach is a glorious location to visit, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Mckinleyville here.
