Mackerricher State Park is not far at all from Fort Bragg, and when you're here it's always fun to stop by Caspar Headlands State Beach. A large amount of precipitation falls at Mackerricher State Park; the month with most of the rain is January while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. There's whitewater on Tenmile Creek for all you thrill seekers, and MacKerricher State Park is both wonderful and charming. the beach if you want, Laguna Point Beach is practically right here. The good selection of local attractions, and the good variety of outdoors recreation will make you delighted you came. Mill Creek is in the vicinity of Mackerricher State Park and is always a joy to stop by,
and there are swamps here too, Inglenook Fen is around here. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors enjoyable things the Coast Ranges has to offer. Lakes? Sure, Lake Cleone is in close proximity, and nothing beats kicking back at Ten Mile Beach. High temperatures at
Mackerricher State Park through the summer months are in the 60's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 50's with winter lows in the 40's overnight here at Mackerricher State Park. Having a brilliant time in the Coast Ranges is
easy. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Eel River - South Fork, and you are close to Laguna Point since you're here.
