SCENIC BEAUTY TO WRITE HOME ABOUT
Just 5 minutes from the Sutter Basin, home to the Sutter Buttes the smallest mountain range in
the nation. An extinct volcano, the Buttes pop up mysteriously out of the valley's flat farmlands, providing a picturesque backdrop. Wildlife and waterfowl are abundant here actual a migratory capital for ducks, geese & egrets. Farmlands are everywhere as well as orchards, ponds,
marsh, creeks & sometimes winter puddles. Tall oaks, black walnuts, cottonwoods and willows offer their timeless beauty and shade. Summer climate brings blue skies & warm daily temperatures of 85-100 degrees with cooler evenings. Color paints a pretty spring with orchard blossoms
& wildflowers, and fall arrives with autumn brilliance. Winter skies fill with snow geese creating a most spectacular view! Truly a natural paradise so bring your camera.
Colusa-Sacramento River State Park is both great and beautiful, and it's near Lovey's Landing RV Park,
and a quick tour to Butte Creek is definitely a delightful idea. At this campground you will always have a great time. Get your heart pumping on the good whitewater of Cache Creek. Summertime highs at Lovey's Landing RV Park usually tend to be in the 90's. When the night sets in
temperatures sink down into the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 50's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Lovey's Landing RV Park dip into the 30's. Lovey's Landing RV Park is commonly a relatively waterless location; January is the wettest
month with most rain, and the driest month is July.
