| | This camp ground is one of the fine places to camp here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. This is such a wonderful campground. A perfect place for whitewater paddling in the vicinity of Long Point is Indian Creek Feather Tributary; Plumas National Forest is a great spot to stretch your legs a bit. There's a heap of outdoors recreation available in close proximity such as hiking, and whitewater paddling, so it's out of the question to get bored. first going for a hike along the Cleghorn Bar Trail, and some of the water nearby flows, like East Branch Mill Creek. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Long Point; Third Divide Trail is a perfect local trail; Feather River - Middle Fork is a tremendous whitewater spot nearby.
| And if that's not enough there's a lot more amusing stuff to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Going for a hike on the Claremont Trail is always a nice adventure, and everybody loves American Valley. Just can't get enough of the Northern Sierra Nevada. There's good hiking along the Eureka Lake Trail; at Long Point you can see Radio Hill. So much cool stuff to do at Long Point, so little time. a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Feather River - Middle Fork; when you're here it's always fun to explore Plumas-Eureka State Park. Pack your camping stuff and get your wheels rolling; Long Point in California is a fine site to go. California
is a fine site for campers. All the delightful local attractions in close proximity and such a delightful variety of outdoors recreation will absolutely have you coming back time and again. It's totally impossible to run out of fun things to do close to Long Point; it is a
very fine campground. Long Point gets a normal amount of rainfall; the month of January is the wettest with most of the snow, and July meanwhile is the driest month. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Long Point. During the moonlight hours it's generally in the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's while the cold winter nights at Long Point are in the 20's.
