Long Meadow - Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park, Southern Sierra Nevada, California   This camp ground is situated in the pretty Southern Sierra Nevada. At Long Meadow amusing stuff to do is abundant; you always have a magnificent time when you're here. The surroundings of this campground have so much to offer. Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Park is a delightful location in the neighborhood of Long Meadow, and the Don Cecil Trail is a great hiking trail nearby. During the long summer days at Long Meadow highs are generally in the 70's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Highs throughout     the winter are regularly in the 40's while Long Meadow nighttime low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 20's. Going for a camping trip here in California is something you have to do. Going for a hike along the High Sierra Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and Congress Group is easy to spot from Long Meadow. The wonderful local attractions and all the outdoors recreation will make you glad you came. So much fun stuff in the Southern Sierra Nevada, just mind-blowing. If the weather is tremendous here at Long Meadow, you can go for a hike along the Sheep Creek Trail; getting to Clover Creek from Long Meadow is uncomplicated. Long Meadow is a very popular campground among residents of Sequoia National Park. This is truly a glorious campground. Near Long Meadow you locate the Hockett   Meadows Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail, and get your heart beating on the great whitewater of Kaweah River. Lots of folks from Sequoia National Park come to Long Meadow, and there's whitewater on Kaweah River - Middle Fork for all you adrenaline rush seekers. A typical amount of rain falls here at Long Meadow; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is July. You've gotta get out; Long Meadow in California is the outdoors at its greatest. Just can't get enough of Long Meadow. A journey to Willow Meadow invigorates the spirit, and you can run the rapids of Kaweah River - North Fork. Scores of people stay at this campground for the purpose of being near Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Park. And that's not all there is to do here in the Southern Sierra Nevada. While you're here at Long Meadow, you could also stop at striking Twin Lakes; there is a magnificent hiking trail close by called the Atwell Hockett Trail. The staff that manages this campground and all the fun things to do have scores of folks coming here.
