Lone Rock - Plumas National Forest, Northern Sierra Nevada, California

  This campground is a great spot to check out. Near Lone Rock you come across the Finger Board Trail which is a perfect hiking trail; delightful hiking is available along the Third Divide Trail.
Scores of fun is at this campground. A journey to Plumas-Eureka State Park when you're here at Lone Rock is a fine idea, and get soaked paddling on Indian Creek Feather Tributary. The Northern Sierra Nevada scenery is always lovely. Lone Rock is a good place of normal rain; January is the wettest month with most snow, and the driest month of the year is July.

Going to Plumas National Forest close to Lone Rock is a great thing to do; why not take a little trip to East Branch Mill Creek since you're here. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Feather River - Middle Fork, and the Claremont Trail is a glorious hiking trail nearby.
Camping out definitely is a fun thing to do, and Lone Rock, California is a magnificent site for getting out. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool stuff in the Northern Sierra Nevada.
