Sycamore Creek has a glorious whitewater paddling spot close by; while you're here you can take a hike along the Bobs Flat Trail. Lombardo's Lakeview Resort is frequently a pretty dried up location; the month with most of the rain is January, and July meanwhile is the driest month. Why not visit Pine Flat Dam while you're here; if the weather   is great, you can go for a hike along the Deep Creek Trail.
