From a rain point of view Logger Flat is a rather common location; during January this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is July. You simply have to go for the Southern Sierra Nevada. Congress Group is a peak you can make out from Logger Flat, and get your heart beating on the great whitewater of Kaweah River - North Fork. Lots of people camp here for the purpose of being near Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Park. A campground like this is too fine to miss. Have a perfect hiking adventure along the Hockett Meadows Trail; naturally   Clover Creek flows through this region. Famous California hospitality and the loveliness of the place are in themselves reason enough to come here. Logger Flat is right by the Don Cecil Trail, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Kaweah River. If you have a thing about the outdoors, you'll go for Logger Flat. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Logger Flat; High Sierra Trail is a nice local trail, and there are some fine whitewater spots on Kaweah River - Middle Fork. Logger Flat is exceptionally well loved by the people of Sequoia National Park. This is a fine campground. During your journey to Logger Flat you'll meet some folks from Sequoia National Park for sure, and a trip to Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Park is recommended. Summertime highs at Logger Flat typically tend to be in the 70's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Logger Flat.
