While you're here at Logger Campground you can play some golf at Quail Valley Golf Course; in case you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Yuba River - Middle Fork. This campground is a wonderful location to stop by. Selby Flat is a tremendous location to check out, and on a pleasant day you can take a hike along the Lafayette Ridge Trail. Man, is there loads of entertaining stuff to do near Logger Campground. Logger Campground is in the vicinity of Malakoff Diggins State Park which is a lovely place. The good selection of local attractions, and such a large number of things to do will absolutely have you coming back repeatedly. One of the main features of the surroundings of Logger Campground is Sugarloaf Mountain, and there is a great hiking trail nearby called the Green Valley Trail. There are so many enjoyable things in close proximity to Logger Campground, and it is a wonderful campground. Some people choose this campground in order to be near Empire Mine State Park. And if that's not sufficient there's lots more exciting stuff to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Going for a hike along the South Yuba Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and a fine spot for whitewater paddling is Yuba River - South Fork. Summertime highs at Logger Campground ordinarily tend to be in the 80's with night lows in the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 40's with temperatures at Logger Campground dipping down into the 20's during winter nights.
