There are so many enjoyable things in close proximity to Logger Campground, and it is a wonderful
campground. Some people choose this campground in order to be near Empire Mine State Park. And if that's not sufficient there's lots more exciting stuff to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Going for a hike along the South Yuba Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this
area, and a fine spot for whitewater paddling is Yuba River - South Fork. Summertime highs at Logger Campground ordinarily tend to be in the 80's with night lows in the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 40's with temperatures at Logger Campground dipping down into the 20's during winter nights.
