| | In California you never run out of outdoors entertaining stuff. This camp ground is one of the great sites to camp here in the Southern Sierra Nevada. The caring reception and the nice quality of everything here are in themselves incentive enough to come here. All through the months of summer here at Live Oak, high temperatures generally get into the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. During the winter highs are generally in the 40's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Live Oak sink |
into the 20's. If you want a good time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Live Oak. At Live Oak you can distinguish Congress Group, and whitewater paddling is great on Kaweah River. Live Oak is often visited by folks from Sequoia National Park. As if Live Oak wasn't
| sufficient, you can also go whitewater paddling, hiking, swimming, and fishing, so probably you want to stay a while. It's impossible to run out of entertaining stuff to do right next door to Live Oak; you always have a good time when you're here. This campground is so good. Get drenched paddling on Kaweah River - North Fork; going for a hike on the Atwell Hockett Trail is always a great adventure. is when you get the most rain here; the driest month is July. The fine pick of local attractions, and so much to do are magnificent incentives to come. All year is a nice time in the Southern Sierra Nevada if you have a thing about the outdoors. A pleasant visit to Willow Meadow
is a great way to spend an afternoon; do pay a visit to Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Park while you're here at Live Oak. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool things in the Southern Sierra Nevada. Go for a hike on the Hockett Meadows Trail, and Twin Lakes is a nearby lake that
you could have a look at. A campground like this is too good to miss. The High Sierra Trail is a delightful hiking trail near Live Oak; lots of people from Sequoia National Park come here. Don't forget to take a fine little tour to Clover Creek, and close by you hit upon the
Don Cecil Trail which is a nice hiking trail. Kaweah River - Middle Fork has a great whitewater paddling spot close by, and there is a good hiking trail nearby called the Sheep Creek Trail.
