There are some fine whitewater spots on Arroyo Seco River, and if you come at the right time of year, San Antonio offers some splendid whitewater. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Santa Lucia Range. If you're here, you might as well check out Limekiln Canyon, and nearby you find the Girard Trail which is a nice hiking trail. There's such a great deal of things to do at Limekiln State Park including fishing, swimming, whitewater paddling, and hiking, so you won’t get bored.
Limekiln State Park gets a typical amount of yearly precipitation; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is July.
