If you come at the right time of year, Battle Creek offers some great whitewater, and you can go for a hike on the Chaos Crags Trail. So many exciting things to do here in the Southern Cascade Range, too great to be true. Good hiking is available along the Hanna Trail, and there are good places to look at along the Heart Lake Twin Meadows Trail. This is a good campground. Get yourself |

into a kayak and hit Mill Creek, and don't leave Lassen Pines Christian Camp without first going for a hike along the Bunchgrass Trail. All the water falling down from the sky makes Lassen Pines Christian Camp a wet place; the month with most of the rain is January, and July is

At Lassen Pines Christian Camp throughout the long summer days highs are in the 90's with nighttime lows in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's while the cold winter nights at Lassen Pines Christian Camp are in the 30's. Man, is there lots of enjoyable stuff to do in the Southern Cascade Range. A pleasant visit to Scharsch Meadows is a brilliant way to spend an afternoon, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Lassen Pines Christian Camp; Growler Trail is a glorious local trail. This campground is so good.

This place, Lassen Pines Christian Camp, it just has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. McArthur-Burney Falls Memorial State Park is a pretty site any time of year, and if you haven’t been to Lassen Volcanic National Park, you have to schedule some time for it since you're here. Lassen National Forest is a good spot to stop by, and glide down the rapids of Battle Creek - South Fork in a kayak.
