| | Lakes Basin is a very popular old favorite campground among the people of Quincy. You believe that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. Hiking along the Finger Board Trail is tremendous fun, and a great sight of charming Radio Hill is available. Summertime highs at Lakes Basin regularly tend to be in the 80's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. All through the winter highs are commonly in the 30's; after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Lakes Basin plunge into the 20's. On a pleasant day at Lakes Basin you can take |
a hike along the Third Divide Trail; lots of people from Quincy come here. If you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Indian Creek Feather Tributary, and locations like Plumas National Forest are delightful to go to. If you like the outdoors
| you'll like it here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. If the weather is tremendous here at Lakes Basin, you can go for a hike along the Eureka Lake Trail, and paddling on Feather River - Middle Fork is so much fun. Loads of fun is at this campground. Going for a hike along the Cleghorn Bar Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and whitewater paddling is good on Feather River - Middle Fork. to Lakes Basin, and when you have spent some time here you will feel like a new person. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Take a little tour to East Branch Mill Creek while you're here at Lakes Basin, and Plumas-Eureka
State Park is a great place to stretch your legs a bit. Lakes Basin is a good place of normal rain; the month of January is the wettest with most of the snow while July is typically the driest month.
