Lake Francis Resort, Northern Sierra Nevada, California   My class gets to go to Lake Francis for one whole day! I am bummed only 1 though! My sister went with her class in 6th grade and now I get to go! Our teacher said that we get to kayak, swim, and do many other things! I can't wait to get there and have soooooooo much fun!! Getting to West Branch Dobbins Creek from Lake Francis Resort is easy; going for a hike on the South Yuba Trail is always a fine adventure. Lake Francis Resort is a very popular campground among folks from Dobbins. So many enjoyable things to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada, not enough time. While you're here at Lake Francis Resort, you could also go to wonderful Lake Francis, and Empire Mine State Park is a delightful place to go.
