thing about it here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Truckee River; the slopes of Granlibakken are so inviting nobody can resist.
Burton Creek State Park is a good site, and you can have a perfect hiking adventure along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 14.
