A golf course in the neighborhood of Lake Casitas Recreation Area is Ojai Valley Inn and Spa Golf Course; Lake Casitas Recreation Area is right by the Ortega Trail. Coming to this campground is always a great idea. Nothing beats kicking back at Oil Piers Beach, and Emma Wood State Beach is worth taking a look at. Having a magnificent time at Lake Casitas Recreation Area is painless. Enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Rincon Beach; you are near Wadleigh Arm since you're here. All through the summertime,   highs typically are in the 70's at Lake Casitas Recreation Area, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 60's while the cold winter nights at Lake Casitas Recreation Area are in the 40's. A wonderful lake like Lake Casitas close to Lake Casitas Recreation Area is a pleasant location to stop by, and there's great hiking along the Ocean View Trail. The yearly rain here at Lake Casitas Recreation Area is about average; February is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is July. All the outdoors fun stuff in the Sierra Madre will keep you coming back over and over. If you haven’t been to Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area, you have to schedule some time for it if you're here, and the Cozy Dell Trail offers hiking at its best.
