All through the warm days of summer at Lake Casitas Recreation Area temperatures are typically in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the     50's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 60's, and nighttime lows at Lake Casitas Recreation Area through the wintertime regularly plunge into the 40's. This campground is so nice. There are plenty of people from Oak View here at Lake Casitas Recreation Area, and you can always enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Oil Piers Beach. Lake Casitas Recreation Area is an old favorite with people in Oak View. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the area in the neighborhood of Lake Casitas Recreation Area has to offer. Good hiking is available along the Coyote Trail, and a trip to San Buenaventura State Beach when you're here is never a bad idea. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Sierra Madre. Lake Casitas is a wonderful lake near Lake Casitas Recreation Area. The Sierra Madre scenery   is always beautiful. There are so many cool things to do in close proximity to Lake Casitas Recreation Area; to be at this place is good fun any time. It's been too much time since you went outside; Lake Casitas Recreation Area in California is a good place to go. This is such a nice campground. Take a hike on the Pratt Trail; Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area is a splendid local destination. Don't miss out on a journey to Channel Islands National Park if you're here at Lake Casitas Recreation Area, and why not go to Casitas Saddle Dike Dam since you're here. Having a fine time in the Sierra Madre is trouble-free. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lake Casitas Recreation Area; Ocean View Trail is a great local trail; Rincon Beach is relatively nearby if you're in a beach type of mood. California is a good place for campers. And that's not all you can do here at Lake Casitas Recreation Area. Sespe Creek is a perfect whitewater spot close to Lake Casitas Recreation Area, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Cozy Dell Trail. Going to Emma Wood State Beach close to Lake Casitas Recreation Area is a wonderful thing to do; there's some flowing water close by, Santa Ana Creek is a stream you can check out during your stay. But wait, there's more exciting things to do in the Sierra Madre. Lake Casitas Recreation Area is right by the Ortega Trail; while you're here you have to have a look at Wadleigh Arm. As if Lake Casitas Recreation Area wasn't sufficient, you can also go swimming, fishing, whitewater paddling, playing golf, and hiking, so you won’t get bored.
