Kelly's Kamp, Coast Ranges, California

| | Everybody should go camping for a couple of days from time to time, and Kelly's Kamp in California is just what you need. Kelly's Kamp is a campground quite often visited by residents of Witter Springs. Coming to this campground is always a great idea. You can run the rapids of Russian River - East Fork right next door to Kelly's Kamp; great hiking is available along the Middle Creek Flat Trail.
All the good local attractions close at hand and all the outdoors recreation will make you glad you came. If only every place had this much outdoors fun stuff, |
what a great globe it would be. A journey to Montgomery Woods State Park rejuvenates the soul, and in case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Russian River.
Outdoors recreation is bountiful, some of the cool stuff you can
| do is hiking, and whitewater paddling, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. Now, you may feel that's plenty but there's even more exciting things to do here in the Coast Ranges. Clear Lake State Park is a great place to visit. High temperatures at Kelly's Kamp during the summertime months are in the 90's. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Kelly's Kamp.

Kamp ordinarily gets a good deal of rainfall; throughout the month of January you get the most rain around here, and July meanwhile is the driest month. You're sure to bump into some wonderful folks from Witter Springs here, and there's nice hiking along the Bucknell Trail.
And if that's not sufficient there's heaps more enjoyable stuff to do in the Coast Ranges. The peak of Little Cow Mountain can be observed from Kelly's Kamp, and you can go for a hike on the Elk Knob Trail. California has such an incredible array of things to offer nature lovers.
The helpful operators of the campground and the mass of amusing stuff to do makes the spree here worthwhile. A number of people camp here through their tour to Clear Lake State Park. There is so much amusing stuff in close proximity to Kelly's Kamp, and it sure is a good campground.
Eel River is a glorious whitewater spot in close proximity to Kelly's Kamp, and Fall Canyon is without doubt a wonderful spot to pop by.
