Summertime at Hungry Gulch arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Hungry Gulch. Hungry Gulch gets a typical amount of annual rain; during January this area sees the most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. The fine variety of local attractions and all the outdoors recreation are guaranteed to keep you coming back over and over. So much cool stuff to do here in the Southern Sierra Nevada, too great to be true. Getting   to Clover Creek from Hungry Gulch is uncomplicated; Willow Meadow is right here at Hungry Gulch. Among the things you can do near Hungry Gulch are hiking, fishing, swimming, and whitewater paddling, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. This is a magnificent campground. Here at Hungry Gulch there are plenty of people from Sequoia National Park, and there's whitewater on Kaweah River for all you thrill seekers. The caring staff and a perfect variety of entertaining stuff have folks coming from far and wide. There are nice places to explore along the Sheep Creek Trail, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Kaweah River - Middle Fork. Man, is there plenty of exciting things to do in the Southern Sierra Nevada. Go for a hike on the Don Cecil Trail, and you'll stumble on a scenic lake called Twin Lakes.
