Pack your camping stuff and start your engine; Hungry Gulch in California is a really great site to spend some time. Hungry Gulch is a campground esteemed by the folks in Sequoia National Park. The yearly precipitation here at Hungry Gulch is about average; during the month of January you get the most rain around here, and July is when it's the driest. This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. There are some brilliant whitewater spots |

on Kaweah River - Middle Fork, and going for a hike on the Don Cecil Trail is always a great adventure. The surroundings of this campground have such a vast number of things to offer. The vista of striking Congress Group near Hungry Gulch is magnificent, and the High Sierra Trail
| is a tremendous hiking trail nearby. Summertime highs at Hungry Gulch usually tend to be in the 70's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. Highs throughout the wintertime are ordinarily in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Hungry Gulch are in the 20's. This campground is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Kaweah River, and you can go for a hike on the Hockett Meadows Trail. if you're trying to find a great site to go for a camping trip, this is a great pick. Lots of folks camp here so they can go to Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Park. The glorious local attractions and such a glorious variety of outdoors recreation are certain to keep you coming
back again and again. If time allows, Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Park is a national park worth a visit; the smiling people of Sequoia National Park like to hang out close by. Some activities here at Hungry Gulch are fishing, whitewater paddling, hiking, and swimming, so
almost certainly you want to stick around for a while. So much cool stuff in the Southern Sierra Nevada, just tremendous. A pleasant trip to Willow Meadow is a glorious way to spend an afternoon, and there are good places to explore along the Atwell Hockett Trail. And that's not
all the things to do here in the Southern Sierra Nevada. Get your heart beating on the wonderful whitewater of Kaweah River - North Fork, and not far from Hungry Gulch you'll locate Twin Lakes which is a picturesque lake. Don't forget to take a fine little journey to Clover Creek, and close by you come across the Sheep Creek Trail which is a perfect hiking trail.
