Hume Lake - Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park, Southern Sierra Nevada, California   The Southern Sierra Nevada scenery is always beautiful. There's great hiking along the Hockett Meadows Trail; do take a look at Clover Creek since you're here at Hume Lake. Willow Meadow is a splendid location here at Hume Lake; you can go for a hike on the Don Cecil Trail. Throughout the days of summer at Hume Lake highs are generally in the 70's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures     drop down into the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's with temperatures at Hume Lake dipping down into the 20's during winter nights. There is so much exciting stuff to do in close proximity to Hume Lake; you always have a delightful time when you're here. Hey, it's time for camping, or what do you think? From a precipitation point of view Hume Lake is a reasonably typical place; January is when you get the most rain here; July meanwhile is the driest month. From Hume Lake you acquire a pleasant view of Congress Group, and soar down the rapids of Kaweah River   - North Fork in a kayak. A visit to California is not complete without some camping. There's loads of outdoors recreation available around here such as fishing, swimming, hiking, and whitewater paddling, so you won’t get bored. Hume Lake is a top selection campground with the people of Sequoia National Park. And if that's not enough, there's loads more to do in close proximity to Hume Lake. At Hume Lake you always meet someone from Sequoia National Park; whitewater paddling is magnificent on Kaweah River - Middle Fork. These mountains rock, just explore all the exciting things to do in the Southern Sierra Nevada. Do stop at Twin Lakes in the neighborhood of Hume Lake, it's a charming lake, and paddling on Kaweah River is so much fun. This campground has so unbelievably much. Good hiking is available along the Atwell Hockett Trail, and there are tremendous places to look at along the Sheep Creek Trail. You just should love the Southern Sierra Nevada. Going for a hike on the High Sierra Trail is always a pleasant adventure; if you're looking for a tremendous journey, Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Park is reasonably near.
