| | We've had our yearly family camping for many years at Horse Heaven Group Camp, I have no idea where you would go swimming, golfing, or white water rafting at this camp ground. Are you confusing this with another camp ground? Says Karen Russell

Horse Heaven Group is right next door to San Pasqual Battlefield State Park which is a gorgeous site, and if you come at the right time of year, Escondido Creek offers some tremendous whitewater. Horse Heaven Group is a very popular campground with the people of Escondido.

time golfing at a close by golf course like Oaks North Golf Course. This campground is a lovely location to go to. You're sure to run into some nice people from Escondido here, and golf can be played at The Vineyard Golf Course. The nice people who run this location and all the
entertaining stuff to do attract folks from far and wide.
Torrey Pines State Beach is a tremendous place to stretch your legs a bit; get your heart beating on the good whitewater of Santa Margarita River. There's so much stuff to do at Horse Heaven Group including swimming,
playing golf, fishing, and whitewater paddling, so it's impossible to get bored.
Quite a lot of entertaining stuff to do right next door to Horse Heaven Group, and it is a fun location for young and old. Playing golf is lots of fun at Carmel Mountain Ranch Country Club. Summer
brings highs in the 80's to Horse Heaven Group, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 60's while the cold winter nights at Horse Heaven Group are in the 40's.
