Altadena Golf Course is a golf course in close proximity to High Country Camping, and nearby you come across the Gold Canyon Trail which is a fine hiking trail. Scores of folks select this campground to go to nearby Verdugo Mountain Park. With such a vast number of things to do in California you'll never get bored. Don't leave High Country Camping without dropping by Angeles National Forest, and Winery Canyon Debris Dam     is a site that is near High Country Camping. If you wish for a little side journey, try Hay Canyon, and an afternoon playing golf at Verdugo Hills Golf Course is always a pleasure. On a wonderful day at High Country Camping you can take a hike along the Condor Peak Riding and hiking Trail; the San Rafael Hills towers over High Country Camping. Mt Waterman is a very popular ski area close by; going for a hike on the Valley Forge Trail is always a glorious adventure. High Country Camping truly is in the middle of a striking outdoors paradise. There is a pleasant hiking trail right   next door to High Country Camping called the Idlehour Trail, and golf can be played at Brookside Golf Course. This campground is so nice. If the weather is nice here at High Country Camping, you can go for a hike along the Stone Canyon Trail, and San Rafael Hills is a peak you can observe from High Country Camping. For the duration of the days of summer at High Country Camping highs are frequently in the 90's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 60's with winter lows in the 40's overnight here at High Country Camping. High Country Camping is an old favorite with the folks from La Canada Flintridge. Around High Country Camping you don’t get a lot of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is February, and July on the other hand is the driest.
