temperatures are ordinarily in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Headquarters temperatures descend to the 20's. Headquarters is situated in the Southern Sierra Nevada. Some people camp here for the purpose of being in the neighborhood of Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Park.
