Whitewater paddling is great on Yuba River - Middle Fork, and there's wonderful hiking along the Humbug Trail. All through the warm days of summer at Hampshire Rocks temperatures are commonly in the 80's. Once the sun is down it     falls down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's while Hampshire Rocks overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 20's. Take a hike on the Green Valley Trail, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Hampshire Rocks; Lafayette Ridge Trail is a magnificent local trail. Gold Run is a great local stream, and Selby Flat is a nice place to check out. This camp ground is one of the tremendous sites to camp here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Going camping for a couple of days here in California is something you must do. All the outdoors cool things close to Hampshire Rocks will keep you coming back over and over. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Halls Ranch Trail. A lot of people pick Hampshire Rocks so they can go to Empire Mine State Park. This campground is so great. Good   hiking is available along the South Yuba Trail; Eagle Ravine is another great site to visit close by. A pleasant vista of picturesque Sugarloaf Mountain is available from Hampshire Rocks, and Yuba River - South Fork has a great whitewater paddling spot close by. Hampshire Rocks is a campground that is extremely loved by people of Nevada City. All the outdoors cool stuff in the Northern Sierra Nevada will keep you coming back repeatedly. Nevada County Country Club is a golf course near Hampshire Rocks, and probably you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Lake Vera is just a very short distance away.
