| | Our family used to live in Reno, NV and would go to Grovers often. We loved to camp in the area and loved the hot springs and swimming pool. In the nice weather hiking was a favorite thing for us to do then take a long wonderful soak. In the winter we loved to use the hot springs and watch the snow falling down. We now live back Chicago and visit Reno at least once a year - Grovers is always a place we visit while there. As wonderful as Chicago is we truly miss Grovers! Says The Nevins's Family

and there are plenty of people from Alpine here. Now, you may think that's plenty but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here at Grover Hot State Parkrings State Park. The Monument Trail offers hiking at its best, and lakes are such serene places, why not explore Palo Verde
| Lake. So many cool things to do here in the Santa Rosa Mountains, too good to be true. Don't leave Grover Hot State Parkrings State Park without first going for a hike along the Horsethief Ridge Trail, and visiting Cleveland National Forest is a good thing to do. This is such a magnificent campground. Good hiking is available along the Pine Creek Trail, and obviously Viejas Creek flows through this region.
All year is a good time in the Santa Rosa Mountains if you like the outdoors. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Middle Peak Loop Trail. | |
