Been camping at both Grays Meadows campgrounds since I was old enough to walk. Upper Grays is my favorite and definitely one of the best places to camp in California. The views are magnificant, the creeks are clear and full of rainbow, brown, and sometimes golden trout. The climate is great even in the middle of August because of the elevation. I make it a point to get up there at least once a year and sometimes it takes three or four trips to satisfy my itch. I would recommend this camping experience to anyone with a little bare-necessity streak in them, after a while | |
