When you're here at Grasshopper Flat it's always fun to visit Plumas National Forest, and if you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling   on Feather River - Middle Fork. This is such a pleasant campground. Plumas-Eureka State Park is both tremendous and delightful, and it's close to Grasshopper Flat; Indian Creek Feather Tributary is a great whitewater spot nearby. The positive atmosphere and the fantastically admirably controlled facilities are relatively unbelievable. Grasshopper Flat is positioned in an area with lots of cool stuff to do; if you're trying to find a wonderful location to go camping for a couple of days, this is a pleasant selection. Grasshopper Flat is a top selection with the folks in Quincy. Here at Grasshopper Flat you'll perhaps meet some folks from Quincy, and hiking along the Third Divide Trail is brilliant fun. The brilliant variety of local attractions and all the outdoors recreation will undeniably have you coming back over and over. Be careful coming to the Northern Sierra Nevada, you might not ever wanna go back home again. Take a hike on the Eureka Lake Trail; one of the governing characteristics of the surroundings of Grasshopper Flat is Radio Hill.
