Summertime highs at Goose Meadows commonly tend to be in the 80's, and the nighttime is quite cooler of course, frequently in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's while Goose Meadows overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the 20's. Good hiking is available along the South Yuba Trail, and Eagle Ravine is absolutely a brilliant location to pop by. Whohoo, so much exciting stuff in one place! The Northern Sierra Nevada rules! There's delightful hiking along the Humbug Trail, and in case you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Yuba River - Middle Fork. So many enjoyable things in the vicinity of Goose Meadows, and to be at this campground is always fun. This campground has so much. The summit of Sugarloaf Mountain can be observed from Goose Meadows, and Malakoff Diggins State Park is a good location to go to. You've got to get out of the house, and Goose Meadows is a perfect local campground if you happen to be in California. The Lafayette Ridge Trail offers hiking at its best, and locations like Empire Mine State Park are wonderful to stop by.
