There's some flowing water nearby, Clover Creek is a stream you can visit while here, and there is a fine hiking trail close by called the Don Cecil Trail. A lot of people camp here so they can go to Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Park. This is a great campground. A pleasant trip to Willow Meadow is a great way to spend an afternoon, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by nearby Twin Lakes. And that's not all you can |
do here in the Southern Sierra Nevada. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Kaweah River - Middle Fork, and going for a hike on the Atwell Hockett Trail is always a nice adventure. A campground like this is too great to miss. A trip to Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Park is recommended;

Goldledge Campground is not far at all from Sequoia National Park, and if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the High Sierra Trail. Summertime at Goldledge Campground comes with high temperatures in the 70's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. Through the wintertime highs are usually in the 40's, and overnight lows throughout the winter for Goldledge Campground tend to be in the 20's. This
