Coming to this campground is always a nice idea. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Van Duzen River. Giant Redwoods RV and Camp sees pretty high levels of precipitation; December is the wettest month with most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. You're sure to encounter some nice folks from Miranda here, and you positively have to stop by Humboldt Redwoods State Park if you're here.
Giant Redwoods RV and Camp is a very popular campground with the folks of Miranda. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing things in the Coast Ranges. You can run the rapids of Mattole River in close proximity to Giant Redwoods RV and Camp; fine hiking is available along the King Crest Trail.
A number of folks stay here when they come to visit Humboldt Redwoods State Park. This campground is a nice site to visit. From Giant Redwoods RV and Camp you acquire a fine view of Kerr Peak, and a wooded area nearby is Myers Grove.
